With the release of Silence, their 3 Points/Elektra debut album, Blindside made a loud entry into the heavy rock world with rockin' concert performances and solid radio play. Blindside connected with fans and fellow musicians in a way that is all-too-rare in an era of short-lived, singles-driven artists, with an intensity and authenticity that is hard to quantify, yet easy to see.
Blindside's new album, About A Burning Fire, brings back the power and passion that made them one of the most talked-about bands of 2002.

First off, whatever blindside does i love it all. I love this album. Eye of the storm was the first song i ever heard by blindside and i love it! its one of those songs that the lyrics make your heart melt because its beautifully written. But this cd is great because every song shows the bands thoughts and feeling that went into each song.

Blindside is in the business of pumping out new music like no other. A lot of bands that try this end up producing sub-standard finshed pieces that seem lacking. This album is not one that falls into that category. You don't have to try too hard to identify who the artist of any of their albums is. Yet, at the same time, they are all diverse enough to keep most listeners' attention. I think this is the best out of the lot because it hits that balance that I like. I shy away from the hardest of music (a lot of their first CD) and yet I also don't care much for the most calm of Christian bands. This one should be right up your alley if you're into hard music that that doesn't venture too far into either extreme.
pretty good, not my fav.| Posted August 25, 2007
this album is pretty good, but like i said it's not my favorite, i really like the song all of us, though, but just because i don't like something a whole lot doesn't mean it's not wonderful to somebody else. (see how positive i am! ha =P)
