Same Old, Same Old (Well, Sorta)| Posted August 27, 2008
Yet, again BarlowGirl makes a great album. I've always loved them for their melody, vocals, and lyrics and they delivered in How Can We Be Silent. The songs may sound familiar melody wise with the power rock and Alyssa Barlow's voice still very good but if you're looking for past songs similar to girl topics like 'Clothes' or 'Five Minutes of Fame' there isn't much. This album was more for the youth of the nation to be bold, announcing the truth. In a way the songs' meanings are a bit trite but the lyrics are add well the BarlowGirl twist. But really you won't be dissapointed, the only thing that was a drag was that the whole album had only 10 tracks. It'd be nice if they had more.

BarlowGirl could have done better on this album.
One or two good songs, and a couple that sound like they belong on their self titled album. Maybe their next album will be better.
Barlow Girl keeps getting better| Posted July 23, 2008 How Can We be Silent is, in my opinion, Barlow Girl's best CD yet. Compared to the albums Barlow Girl and Another Journal Entry, this album has more depth and meaning. All the songs hit Christianity and real-life issues head-on. The lyrics are so inspiring and have so much depth; the word "ouch" ran through my head a few times when listening to the words. The music is bound to inspire and relate to people of all walks of life. Also, the melodies are more mellow than the band's past albums. How Can We Be Silent is worth every penny!

The Best Yet| Posted May 20, 2008
This is by far the best BarlowGirl album to date. The songs have better messages in them and they are easier to listen to. Also, this album is more directed towards both males and females. The best song is definitely Million Voices. This is a must have cd.
Great album| Posted May 11, 2008

The best yet!| Posted April 11, 2008
Barlowgirl's music has been such a blessing in my life for a long time. It helped me (and is helping me) though rough times in my life. (Yes i told them this personally when i met them at WinterJam and yes... i cried lol) How can we be silent is by far the best and most powerful cd by Barlowgirl yet! Million Voices, Song For The Broken, and one more round are amazing rock anthems of the Christian faith. My favorite song, though, is I Believe In Love....and yes...i cried lol
Not as Impressed| Posted March 25, 2008
I bought this album out of good faith hoping it'd match up to the others. I just couldn't get into it and some of the selections were just plain kooky. BUT, I'm still a fan and will continue buying their music :-)
