The main theme of the album explores the concept that the phrase, "Hear My Cry" can be said from two distinct, legitimate perspectives. One perspective, is the plea of the lost, tired, or downtrodden, crying out to God in their time of need. The other perspective is from one crying out to God in adulation, admiration, and thanksgiving. The Psalmists' use of these perspectives in their writings illustrates a vivid, raw look into the human condition, our reliance on God, and how worthy He is of our praise. That raw honesty is what helped inspire this new record.
