On the heels of newsboys' long-awaited return to its rock roots, GO (2006), arrives an epic remix album for longtime fans and new ones alike. GO | Remixed contains smash songs from the original record, like multi-format radio hit, "Wherever We Go," in new form thanks to original mixes by famed producers Tedd T., Max Hsu, Jeff Frankenstein and Lee Bridges. Given the public's extraordinary reception to newsboys' current release, GO | Remixed is sure to deliver more of the same but exceeding above and beyond listeners' expectations.

Your Love Is Better Than Life (St. Petersburg remix)
This release is a decent overall collection of remixes. Compared to the remixes that have done for some of "Plumb's" songs, I really think that the Newsboys deserve much better, as many of their original studio released songs are very good. Overall I thought that many of these mixes were not as strong as the original album tracks they were mixed from, but there are enough on this release that I might purchase it at some point down the road if cheap enough.

I had never heard these dudes before the other day, but for being pretty old their concerts sure were cool :) The CD's ok...not all that impressed, but the songs were kind of catchy and their voices sound cool. They have a really cool story, as well. I think I'll probably check out some of their older stuff too.

To start off, I am a pretty big Newsboys fan. They were probably the very first Chritian artist I ever liked. Their lyrics are so powerful and focused on Christ and giving him all the glory in everything, and the music they play just complements the lyrics perfectly. They really do fit into the rock/pop category, they play what they want to play and give the credit to God which is just amazing.
I have listened to both the original 'GO' album and the new 'GO|Remixed' album, as well as been to their amazing 'GO' Tour concert and personally, their Original 'GO' album is ALOT better than the Remixed version. The remixed version really killed the songs for me. It took away alot of the feeling in the songs and really didn't complement it in any way. The only tracks i liked on this version were the ones Remixed by Jeff Frankenstein. The rest i really had no interest in and really didn't care for.
I was really bummed after buying this CD from such and amazing and influencial band and it having such a bad feel to it. I liked that Newsboys were going for a new/different sound for their songs, but i don't think this was the right choice.
