For those who love Casting Crowns, Lifesong Live is the most insightful look yet into the band's music and members. This dynamic DVD/CD combo includes six songs on DVD as well as seven live songs on CD from the 84-market "Lifesong Tour," which impacted sell-out crowds Fall '05 through Spring '06. The set also features the new "Does Anybody Hear Her" music video along with a behind-the-scenes "making of the music video" segment. Plus, we have included 12 bonus featurettes such as a typical day in the hectic life of lead singer/songwriter Mark Hall as he juggles fatherhood, ministry, and touring; a look at each of the members' lives in their home churches; the humorous antics of the band's most colorful character and drummer, Andy Williams; and the gospel message from tour pastor, Tony Nolan. No other place gives you access to the live music and in-depth, behind-the-scenes footage of one of the most successful tours and most loved bands in Christian music.

Overall I am not a huge fan of live albums. Featuring live performances from the band's second release this set includes both a CD and a DVD. The performances presented are pretty good and the band is Christ focused and engaging as always. I wished that the number of tracks would have been a little larger, but realize that the concert probably featured songs from the bands first and second releases, but just the songs that corresponded to the second release were featured here.

For a live music Cd, I'll be fair. They did well. This one is my fave of all the live casting crowns cds so far, but I'm still not a fan of live music. Personally because I don't like live music, I do admit I downplay a lot of it, but for those of you who do like live music, ignore me and go get the cd!

I really liked this album, the songs live were really good. Some artists put out albums like this and it doesn't sound very well. I really liked 'Does Anybody Hear Her' live and 'Lifesong' was pretty good as well. And I have to say, I've seen Casting Crowns in concert before, and they're very good. So you might want to go see them sometime.
