Wow is all I can say, I picked up this album as soon as it came out and it has touched my life in an amazing way. You can always count on Kirk Franklin coming out with a trong release with every album, this one is my favorite so far
Kirk's Done It Again!| Posted April 05, 2011
So I'm in love with the latest offering from gospel's favorite "nephew", Kirk Franklin. From the musically subtle but lyrically poignant opening track ("Hello Fear", best breakup song I've ever heard!) to the last note I found myself on a journey of contemplation, celebration, introspection and, finally, FREEDOM!
My pick hits would have to be "Before I Die" (a markedly DC go-go feel cranked all the way up!), "The Altar" (Sunday morning at its best), "Give Me That", "Everyone Hurts" and last, but far from least, "Something About The Name Jesus Part 2". I had to mention "Something About The Name..." last so that I could use the next few sentences to gush over how much I adore every singer featured on the track. I'm Fan #1 when it comes to John P. Keem, I grew up on the Winans so having Bishop Marvin Winans was an immediate sell for me, I think Isaac Carree's vocal cords are made of gold and Rance Allen just tickles me with his old school grunts & screams, lol!
I've always been a fan of Kirk's but I must say that the lyrical content on this album seems significantly stronger on this album than those in the past. Two thumbs up for "Hello Fear", I encourage all to purchase & support! You won't be disappointed!

I must say that this is one of the Best albums that Kirk Franklin has done. I thought that "The Fight of My Life" was his best, however when this CD came out it topped it. The CD is a necccesity for this generation, esp in the times that we are in now when everyone is afraid to walk in their purpose. I must say that when I listened to the Cd I had to take some time and just listen over and over. Fear is one of the things that has stopped me from doing alot of the things I needed to do, however the song Hello Fear allows you to have just a bit more confidence than before. Thank you Kirk Franklin for another Chart topping CD that will minister to the spirits of those who hear it. Many blessings to you sir
It's alright| Posted March 21, 2011
This album was okay. It's "the new' Kirk Franklin. I prefer Kirk Franklin's earlier songs that had a more choir-vibe going on. If you're a true Kirk Franklin fan, then you will like this album. If not, this one might not be such an exciting collection of songs for you.
Anyway.
The songs on "Hello Fear" have very uplifting, positive messages if you are going through hard times and struggles. I personally think that the best song on the whole thing is "GIVE ME (Feat. Mali Music)" That definitely is a stand-out track... "Hello Fear" has it's goods and bads. But in the end, it's basically a CD to get you positive about the negativity in your life.

Amazing Album| Posted March 21, 2011
What an awesome and solid effort from Kirk. I'm completely amazed at his constant growth and his dedication to proclaiming the name of Christ. Undeniably, Kirk has, again, set the bar for contemporary Christian music. He blends genres together effortlessly, like only he could. This album is produced amazingly well, but what stands out most are the words. They speal life, each song. Kirk shows that you don't have to drop Jesus' name from your repertoire to be relevant, and I applaud that. Other artists should take note. Love this album!
