Music lovers all across America, and even the world, are coming up with creative and innovative ways to keep supporting their favorite bands and artists amidst the struggles the COVID-19 pandemic has brought. Nearly all music festivals in America were cancelled or postponed a year, as were most concert tours. In spite of it all, creative thinking and innovative spirits come from Mateo and Cole from Instagram, known as ChristianRockX and IChristianRock respectively. They are both passionate supporters of Christian rock and metal, and their hard work has paid off to create ContagionFest 2020.
Contagionfest 2020 is an online digital Christian rock & metal festival scheuduled for Friday, June 19th at 6 PM on IChristianrock's YouTube channel, and Saturday, June 20th, at 2 PM on Christian Rock X's YouTube channel. The festival's goal is to bring a digital concert environment and live music to people who are stuck at home during quarantine, and also to help highlight independent and small Christian rock artists gain fans and attention. Support links for each artist will be heavily promoted throughout both days and linked in the descriptions of the stream videos. More information will be announced in the coming weeks on both Instagram pages, including artist schedules and streaming links. There is no ticket purchase needed for the event.
