Today, NewReleaseToday joined forces with Visible Music College and Madison Line Records to launch Virtual Music Tour, an online platform that will connect artists and bands with audiences worldwide for online concerts and events.
The idea was formed from multiple questions that needed answers. In light of the current environment, how can a tour go online?
How do artists and creatives save money as the market keeps changing?
How do artists find a way to tour a record while keeping a family unit intact?
How can audiences that are physically challenged, chronically ill, socially anxious and fearful still connect with their favorite artists and the power of live music?
How can bands engage with young families and those who cannot afford a night out?
How do we bring worship to the lonely and disenfranchised?
Music is important. Music is most needed right now! We have seen many of our touring friends out of work for an unforeseen amount of time. The venues where they can play at are closing. Churches, restaurants, coffee shops and bars are closed for the foreseeable future.
NOW is the time.
