Shachah – The Hebrew word for worship. A verb meaning to bow down, to prostrate oneself, to crouch before God in worship.
This definition keeps in focus the essence, ministry and vision of the band Shachah. With their fresh and unique style, the band will engage the body of Christ in heart-felt and sincere worship that will point people to Jesus. With their love for the Lord and using music as their tool, they desire to build bridges of worship uniting cultures in this generation. Their songs cover a broad range of styles which allow them to minister to various cultures. 1 Corinthians 2:2 is the main inspiration and influence when writing lyrics for their original songs.
The members of Shachah are made up Brenden Mcpeek (vocals/rap), Josh Wagner (vocals/guitar), Earl Mergelsberg (bass), and Stephen Anderson (Drums). Their dedication to Christ and their desire to lead people into worship has brought these four servants together.
There is a lost and dying world out there starving for Jesus and we are called to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. So let us come together in unity and bring them the truth without losing their flavor.
