Metal project Death Therapy has released the first song off of their upcoming instrumental album. The new song, "Guardian Awakening" is the first single from an upcoming experimental instrumental album that frontman Wisdom is creating. The song is self-described as, "Funky, Heavy, groovy - "Guardian Awakening" is available everywhere now and features an amazing guest guitar solo by Daniel Gailey (Fit For A King, Phinehas)." The song has a distinctive sound all on its own, and we are excited to hear the rest of the creative music that Wisdom has made.

The unique mix of electronic elements and heavy groove metal that makes up Death Therapy's sound on their two albums thu far is largely due to Jason Wisdom, the founder and front man. Their previous album, Voices, featured several guest artists, such as Garrett Russell from Silent Planet and Matt Baird from Spoken. The guest on this new song is the very talented Daniel Gailey on guitar.

Jason Wisdom won a 2020 Grizzly Award for Best Bass Player, and his skills are evident on this song and previous albums.
