Born Tarrell Brown. Formerly known as 7AM, Ben 4Gvn is a song writer, singer and a lyricist born in Beaufort SC (but raised in Columbus GA). Brought up in a PK environment where everything from the TV to the floor was saved and sanctified, he spent a lot of time in his grandfather's church where he began singing in the choir at five years old. In middle school, he started to appreciate different forms of music and he fell head over heels in love with rap. The real strength behind his music comes from his ability to interpret the ups and downs of life through hooks and bars. His successful formula is just being real and honest through his music. Ben 4Gvn has spent the early part of his career performing in local talent shows, and showcases. He has also headlined a number of events and opened for award winning artists. After collecting his inheritance and searching for success outside of the will of God he ran into many painful heartbreaks and hardships. One day while laying in the pig pen of his carnal desires this prodigal son came to himself and returned home. At that point, Ben 4Gvn began to seek council from a higher power. He allowed God to work in him and through his music. He now understands and accepts the responsibility that comes with being a trend setting spirit led artist.

Ben 4Gvn is looking to transform music yet again through his “put God first” and a “to God be the glory” mind set. He is truly an anointed vessel gifted with a unique ministry that is equipped for the battlefield in which young souls are dying. He does not compromise his beliefs in order to fit into an “industry mold”. Instead, he speaks what thus saith the Lord and strives to live a life that is pleasing to his heavenly father.
