There are certain singers who grab hold of your heart instantly. You remember the first time you heard that voice and how at the end of the song, you felt changed and uplifted. Madelyn Berry is such a singer. The powerhouse vocalist, who could easily stand toe-to-toe with some of the greatest singers in christian music today has had the opportunity to sing with Martha Munizzi, William McDowell, Jonathan Nelson, Darwin Hobbs, and opened up for Canton Jones, Richard Smallwood, Judy Jacobs and Smokie Norful, possesses the voice of an angel. But more than that, God has blessed her with a special anointing and a gift to write songs that have the power to change lives.

 

The Fairfield, Alabama, native practically grew up between church pews. Madelyn has always been known to be shy and soft spoken, but something happened when the music started. "I remember the first time that I sang," the singer recalls. "I was eleven at the time and I sung a hymn. By the end of the song, people were crying and waving their hands, she says. "At That age, I didn't really understand it, but I knew that more than a feeling; it was ministry. At that moment, I knew that this was something that I want to do for the rest of my life."

 

In 2005, her dream became a reality as she release her debut project, "Voice To Inspire." Madelyn shortly relocated to Orlando, Florida, where she currently resides, and in 2009 released her sophomore project "You Deserve All Praise," which includes her smash hit single "Leaning." "You Deserve All Praise" was Madelyn's first Live effort which opened many doors for her ministry. She made her first national television debut on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel, ministered on numerous occasions at The Orlando House of Blues, the National Anthem for an Orlando Magic Basketball Game at the Amway Arena, and most recently she performed on TBN's Praise the Lord. Serving as the Worship Leader at her home church, has also given her an opportunity to share her heart for God and music with so many on a weekly basis. On January 11th, 2011, her Brand New single entitled "Every Little Thing," from her upcoming self-titled Inspirational Album, was released and is making an impact. The CD will be released February 22, 2011. With the success of her first three projects, Madelyn is preparing for her forth release entitled "Release the Sound" in 2012. 

 

With a stunning voice and pure heart for God, the sky is the limit for this anointed woman of God.
