Spirit is volume two of Gungor's album trilogy titled One Wild Life, which is being released over the course of 12 months. Spirit debuts on March 25, 2016.
"One Wild Life: Spirit continues the journey to open the heart to wonder," said Lisa. "Sometimes it is easy to feel stuck, to feel alone, to feel hopeless. But these songs are our attempt to bring a sense of belonging and a nudge to remember how magical and meaningful life is."
Gungor kicked off the music series with One Wild Life: Soul, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Christian Albums chart and No. 15 on the iTunes Alternative Albums chart. The third and final record, One Wild Life: Body, will be released later in 2016.
"This second album of the One Wild Life trilogy is both a celebration of and invitation to dive headfirst into childlike wonder: to leave behind the small, false world of pre-rational superstition or of 'enlightened' modern reductionism and to simply open our eyes and heart to the infinite magic of everything," shared Michael about the Spirit record.
