The much anticipated solo debut from former frontman of the David Crowder* Band has been postponed until the early summer.
David Crowder's Neon Steeple, originally releasing later this month, will now see a street date of May 27th, 2014. Equally as surprising, the February/March dates on the conjoining Neon Steeple Tour, featuring special guests Capital Kings and All Sons & Daughters, have been pushed back to October and November, respectfully.
Citing "unavoidable circumstances," a brief statement from management on Crowder's website (http://crowdermusic.com), offers more information to fans and ticket buyers:
"We sincerely apologize for the album and tour shift, but we make every promise we'll do all we can to make it more than worth the wait."
The singer follows up the statement with one of his own:
"I am happy that we find ourselves carrying such a thing, but I am sad that we won't be able to share it for a bit more time. However in my greatest happiness, we will see you soon."
Crowder's website promises that all tickets purchased for the spring leg of the tour will be honored this fall. His first single off the album, "I Am," is currently #14 and climbing on the CCM Billboard charts.
