Iconic Christian Rocker John Schlitt Releases New Album "Go"
Lead Single "Feel It" Is Out Now

Renowned vocalist for legendary rock band Petra, John Schlitt, has released a brand new solo album titled Go. This solo album has very evident Petra influences, but also some unique sounds and vocal style that is Schlitt's own. This is Schltt's sixth solo album outside of an official band. The lead radio single "Feel It," goes for adds today - The high-energy song is being serviced to Christian Rock radio through A-Sides Radio Promotion.
On the new album, Schlitt's website says:
"Go is a declaration of movement. Sometimes movement is a forward motion -- and sometimes movement takes a momentary pause as we wait for direction. In either case, "go" does not mean to sit still in our comfort zone and do nothing. We're either going forward or idling in expectation of God's direction. And when the time comes to go -- then we GO!"
John Schlitt has earned multiple Gold Records, Grammys and Dove Awards. He has toured all over the world and has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame as the lead singer of Petra. John Schlitt was recently named the best rock singer in Christian music history by GospelMusicChannel.com. According to the website, John Schlitt "remains one of the most distinctive and impactful men to ever stand behind a microphone."
Schlitt officially joined Petra in 1986, bringing his unique sound to a band that, during Schlitt's tenure as lead vocalist,
would earn 10 Dove Awards and four Grammys. He currently records and tours as a solo artist, as well with The Union of Sinners and Saints, a band featuring Schlitt, former Whiteheart member Billy Smiley and Jason Fowler.
