Christopher Phiouthong, Social Media Director for Trackstarz, was viciously and brutally attacked at his home residence on the night of April 5 according to
police reports.
Phiouthong is in critical care at a local Tennessee hospital. The assault involved the use of extremely corrosive acid which resulted in deep burns to over 60% of his body, complete facial disfigurement, and permanent loss of vision in both eyes. He is currently undergoing multiple surgeries and life preserving treatments. His parents are missionaries in Thailand and are in need of financial assistance due to Christopher's lack of medical insurance and the cost of the
extensive care he is receiving.
The above-referenced details are found on his
GoFundMe fundraising support page. The goal has been set at $100,000 with close to $40,000 in donations already received in 24 hours. Trackstarz, the Christian Hip-Hop (CHH) community, and the family of Christopher Phiouthong encourage donations or the sharing of the fundraiser link to enable the goal to be reached as quickly as possible.
Trackstarz posted a tweet reaching out for immediate assistance as seen below:
