Kevin Max fans who are clamoring for his early 2018 release titled
AWOL were given a Christmas gift to tide them over until the latest full-length project from the former
dc Talk member.
Early in December, Max released a free download on
Soundcloud and
YouTube called "Angels of Winter (Wolves of Fate)." The single "is a piano track written by Kevin Max at his studio in Franklin, Tennessee on December 3rd," according to information on his Soundcloud page.
The track was mixed by Keiran Kelly and produced by Kevin Max and Keiran Kelly, and, as tweeted by Max, is a "winter survivalist song just for you this Christmastime." Lyrics to the track are available on the Soundcloud link as well.
Kevin Max is best known for his work as one-third of 90s alternative rock/rap group dc Talk, and has since put together a solo career that has seen him push the boundaries of music from rock to pop and beyond.
