In the course of the episode, the duo shares the original voice memo from the shower that laid the groundwork for hit song "Tell Me."
The podcast reveals the struggles along the way from agreeing on the format of the song, being stuck in a studio for weeks, seeking input from
Disciple guitarist Josiah Prince, as well as hearing feedback from As We Ascend "label executives" (the unique approach the band uses to seek input from their supportive fans).
