Dancing With the Stars is known perhaps for its risque costuming as much as it is its celebrities and their mind-blowing dance maneuvers, but one competitor says she's going to keep things PG.
Season 18 competitor Candace Cameron Bure says she will forego the skimpy costumes, noting that as a mom and a Christian, she plans to embrace a more modest wardrobe.
"The two most important things in my life are my faith and my family and I know that is what is going to get me through this competition," the
Full House alum told partner Mark Ballas in a video clip from their rehearsals. "I'm not gonna be your sexy girl, I'm a mom of three kids so I want to look good and feel beautiful, but I will probably stay on the more modest end of costuming."
Bure, 37, is the wife of Russian NHL hockey player Valerie Bure, and has three children, ages 12, 14 and 15. She also told
Us Weekly that she hopes her appearance will represent "all the moms out there, and inspire them and encourage them."
Dancing With the Stars airs at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central on ABC.
