Tyler Ward, successful independent artist and YouTube sensation, shared a video on his facebook this weekend of him covering
Hillsong UNITED's "Oceans" by the Sea of Galilee in Israel.
The artist, who has become increasingly outspoken about his Christian faith, has been sharing updates from the Holy Land for several days now as he tours the countryside where Christ walked. While crossing the Sea of Galilee, someone just happened to have a guitar. Tyler shared the resulting cover with the explanation "Because of the given circumstances I felt it necessary to play a quick version of 'Oceans' with the lyric, 'walk upon the water.' Ironic.
