Former Downhere bassist Glenn Lavender was featured in a brief segment on The Rachael Show this past week, highlighting his new business venture.
Since Downhere's ending of their music ministry, all of their members have moved on to various other projects. While the band's vocalists have remained in the music business to various degrees, through performance for Marc Martel and production for Jason Germain, Lavender has kept himself busy with a variety of unique projects. One of which is the founding of a vineyard, Silver Hand Meadery. The vineyard was given a shoutout during a Travel Therapy segment on the popular nationally syndicated talk show exploring Greater Williamsburg. Lavender's unique product of mead made with local honey was a centerpiece of the reel. While Lavendar's appearance was brief, he and his business still were the beneficiaries a prime exposure via Ray's talk show, which is viewed by millions each week.
