skin is just another example of ted dekker's brilliance. he never ceases to amaze me.

Skin is an outstanding novel. The story was great; the ending was especially great. The ugly/beautiful theme was very well done and Dekker was exceptional with crafting the villain as always. Sterling Red remains my second favorite villain, directly after Marsuvees Black. The story was solid and I thought it was original. The twists and turns were completely unexpected and after Thr3e I hadn't thought he could ratchet it up more, but Dekker certainly did! One of my favorite books from my FAVORITE author! The characters were well-developed, and I loved the Jerry Pinkus character, though he could become annoying! The beginning drew me in exceptionally well, and the rest of the novel followed straight through. A literary masterpiece...perfection almost at its highest. Skin should be read by everyone!

This is probably my favorite Ted Dekker book. I read it for the first time about a year ago, and I read it again recently, because I loved the book so much. I LOVED how it ended and how we would try to figure out who the killer was only to give that person an alibi. I totally fell in love with Colt, hated Nicole, and was annoyed with Pinkus. It was a great read, and there is nothing that I can complain about for this one.

Wow. I mean WOW wow. There is no putting this down. I barely blinked certain that I was going to miss something somehow. And no matter how much you tell yourself that its a story, you'll find yourself urging the characters on, sharing in their triumphs, feeling their disappointments, and being shattered when something goes wrong. My only complaint was that I reached the end far too soon.
Well done Mr. Dekker. Well done.

Just finished this book and WOW what a lot of twists and turns. What does Dekker eat for dinner so that he dreams up this stuff in his nightmares?
I hated the ending only because I wanted it to keep going ... :-)

Skin is a great book of twists and turns it will definitely keep you reading!I love this book,It truely asks the question is beauty only Skin deep
?The book has compelling characters such as Colt,Wendy,Carey,Nicole,and Red.It's an Amazing book two thumds up!

What a fantastic book!! Ted Dekker is an amazing story teller who comes up with out of this world stories full of twists and turns that no one would expect. I couldn't put this book down I love it!

Wow what a thriller! I was so eager to read this book and I was not disappointed. Ted Dekker is one heck of a writer! I didn't want put this book down! That's how good it was. Now, at some parts I got confused but after I read the book over and over those parts made sense. READ THIS BOOK! One more thing...its not AS scary as they said it was!

I personally didn't find this book unique. But I still loved it. Ted Dekker has a great way of writing his supernatural elements, psycho serial killers, surprising twists and endings with fine detail that even I have to go back and think "DID THAT JUST HAPPEN???" That's what I would shout in my mind when you think you know how the story will end but then he just alters something important that makes you scratch your head and say "I didn't see that coming." Skin is a great book but he has written some better ones.
