Grammy-award winning metal band August Burns Red will be livestreaming a concert celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut studio album Thrill Seeker. The show will be November 14 at 8PM EST; tickets and preorder bundles range from $15 for a ticket to $115 for the "Mega Bundle." The band will be playing Thrill Seeker front to back along with encore songs from their follow-up hit album Messengers. The show will be professionally recorded with six cameras, and mixed and mastered in the studio afterward.
Lead singer Jake Luhrs will be singing/screaming for this performance and recording, unlike the original that had Josh McManness on vocals. The band announced on Facebook:
IT HAS BEEN DECIDED! We will shred a Thrill Seeker 15th Year Anniversary FULL ALBUM Livestream w/ exclusive encore songs from Messengers on Saturday November 14th at 8PM EST/5PM PT!!"
August Burns Red started in Matt Greiner (drummer)'s basement in 2003 with their independent EP titled Looks Fragile After All. Soon after, they were signed to Solid State Records where they remained for many years. Thrill Seeker was released in 2005, after which Jake Luhrs took over vocals and they released their billboard-charting album Messengers in 2009.
