The duo makes a powerful statement with their much-anticipated album, KEEP HOPIN’ // KEEP DREAMIN’, an epic, sweeping musical landscape that encompasses themes of ambition, dreams, and purpose.

The album’s soaring debut features a hypnotic wave of rhythm and electronic sounds. Their title track, Keep Hopin’, sets the stage and cuts through the societal noise to remind us about what is important in our life: “If there is breath in your lungs, God is not done yet. We have to KEEP HOPIN’ & KEEP DREAMIN’!” 

This inspiring pop masterpiece also represents the exciting adventure into a new life for brothers Jake and Zach, who were propelled into stardom with the release of their critically acclaimed single, Keep Hopin’, which debuted on nearly one hundred national radio stations across North America achieving over 3.5 million plays worldwide. 

“God has certainly blessed us in so many incredible ways,” says Jake. “If you would have told us ten years ago we’d be here, I wouldn’t have believed it. God had something special planned this whole time, bigger than anything we could have ever dreamed. We owe it to Him, our community, and ourselves to pour everything we have into our ministry. We have to continue to keep the same heart posture – to serve and point others to Jesus.”

A handful of their other tracks – YOU, Right On Time, and You Are Good (Even When) – also debuted on multiple editorial playlists on platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. In addition to their studio success, the duo performed nationally on a widely successful 100-date tour.

“The musical progression on this album is a question for all of us,” Jake explains. “Looking at these songs – the greater question is where our hope lies. When stared in the face of adversity, disaster, and chaos – where do we look? As Christians, we are challenged to look onward of the hope we have in Jesus. Not the hope of this world.”

“There’s a commonality to the pre-chorus of You Are Good (Even When),” Zach picks up. “I’ve been through the ringer but I know, if I lose it all still I’ve got hope.’ It’s possible to still have an unshakeable faith in the midst of tragedy. Rather than swaying with the waves of life, we can find stable ground. Stability in God.”

Whether employing confident drum sections in Defined By You, flawless harmonies on Keep Hopin’, or syncopated gang vocals on YOU, the duo creates intriguing soundscapes, while painting meaningful truths and its new album, KEEP HOPIN’ // KEEP DREAMIN’. 

“When you go through life, the more you realize God’s timing is always perfect,” Zach shares. “Whether it’s someone who walks into your life at just the right time, or a friend calls you when you’re going through a difficult season. God’s timing again and again – is perfect.”

The Scally Brothers began writing and recording songs about hope and love over twelve years ago, when the band was originally founded, with messages that are vital during the valleys of our lives.
