Genuine work

By LaceyRuth,
I am not a huge listener of worship music outside of church, but since I heard they would be the Dare2share artist this year, I decided to get more familiar with the band.
I listened to this album and I can say I enjoyed it. The music seemed solid and the lyrics felt real, like something I could feel myself worshipping to.
I do feel that the lead singer can be a bit awkward at times, distracting from the song itself.
Even though a few songs are a bit long for my taste (only two are under four minutes), I didn't feel like they dragged on. The music really filled in the gaps and kept the vibe alive.
I didn't break down and cry for any part of the album so far, but it is moving.
Hopefully they bring a tad more energy live. View All Music And Book Reviews By LaceyRuth | View LaceyRuth's Profile
