If you are a fan of music (Hello you are browsing newreleasetuesday.com so you are!!) you need to pick up this book by Matthew Paul Turner. I rarely re-read books and I have read this one several times. An insider look at the industry that feeds us our tunes, this coming of age story has a little something for all of us to relate to. Whether you were raised in an ultra-conservative family covering your ears from syncopated rhythms, or were raised on some good ol' rock n' roll, you will get a good laugh, as well as some weighty thought to chew on with this little gem.
