The Best One

I think that this has been Barlow Girls best cd. I love the lyrics in the songs such as "Harder than the First Time" and "She walked away" They are all about standing for God and falling back on Him in the song "On My Own" I can really feel that song because I have been there. They forcefully put forth their stand on dating and modesty in "Average Girl" in "Clothes" and these songs really do make you think. As for the song "Pedestal" I think we've all been there at one point where we have put someone so high up there only to be crushed when they fail to fulfill what we thought they were. "Never alone" is an awesome song that can be incredibly powerful when you really listen to it because we are truly never alone. Even when we don't feel God he's there. The tune of that song also draws you in. But I think my absolute favorite song on this cd is the slowest one, which is odd for me. I love the song "Surrender" It has been a big struggle for me to give up and say goodbye to the things that I love most and I fear that God will take is so I cling to it for dear life, but listening to that song inspires me to follow Gods way and not my own and to hand it over to him for the benefit of myself. All in all, I really enjoy this cd. View All Music And Book Reviews By soalyssatated | View soalyssatated's Profile
