Keeps getting better...

By tofman1182,

I started my "Donald Miller experience" with "Blue Like Jazz. I was overwhelmed by the unique insights that Donald Miller gave on faith and life. I appreciated his honesty and transparency. I decided to read another of his books. I ended up reading "Searching for God Knows What", "Through Painted Deserts", "To Own a Dragon", and now I'm currently reading "A Million Miles in a Thousand Years". While waiting for this new book, I read "Blue Like Jazz" a second time. After reading Donald Miller's books, it's very difficult to read any other author. The reader is quickly drawn in to the story by Miller's ability to write conversationally; it seems like the reader is sitting down with Miller over a cup of coffee as one reads the book. I am about 3/4 of the way through "A Million Miles in a Thousand Years" and I really hate it that I can't devote an entire day to reading the book from cover to cover. Miller walks the reader through his experience with story and as he grows, you grow. You gotta get this book.
