Definetly Not Comatose

By justink,

I had high expectations for this album but after listening to it- I can most defeintly say that Comatose was there best album- Caotose was there best album. Comatose was Fresh and new the combination of rock and strings was relatively new to CCM but now it just seems alittle redundant- like they didn't grow creatively on this album.

They have grown alot but still have the same familiar sound. With the new drummer- you get a new dimension. because she sings. Her vocals seem alittle too polished for the music so it is a strange fit for the type of music that ithey are singing to.

I don't care for Hero much the back and forth vocals just seems alittle too much-

Monster is a pretty good song. it rocks.

Don't wake me sounds like a distant cousin to Lips of an Angel by Hinder.

I think that they are trying too hard on the first track the "Waking Up Waking Up is really annoyoying . .

One Day too Late has the over used "tick tock the clock" to symbolize that time is passing- the whole song is alittle cliche' I don't care for it. IT's not me It's you- is another song that I'm not sure I know the point of.

Should've come When You Couldve- is one of those songs that you know was rushed or not well thought out I mean really? are we rhyming should of and could of together just to make a song? what is this Kj-52?

Overall- I wasn't too pleased with the album. It honestly sounds like a bunch of B-sides from Comatose.
