Today, Tauren Wells announced on social media that his hit single "Hills and Valleys" is now officially RIAA Certified Platinum, meaning that the song has hit one million in sales.

"When Chuck Butler, Jonathan Smith and I wrote this, Chuck said that he felt like it could be 'bigger than a hit.' Meaning the radio charting didn't matter as much as the impact this song could have on people's lives" Tauren shared. "It did just that. This song barely broke the top 10 at radio but it broke through all the noise in the world and into the lives of millions of people. Truly amazing!! Somehow these songs find their way into your lives and I can't tell you how amazing, humbling, and special that is to me."
