Multi-platinum selling Christian rock band Skillet had added multiple new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America to their collection. The Recording Industry Association of America awards Gold, Platinum, and subsequently multi-platinum status to album or singles that have reached a certain milestone in either direct sales or accumulating enough unique streams (a 150 to 1 scale for singles and 1500 to 1 scale for albums).

The band has already achieved multiple certifications for singles and albums in the past, and now they can add a plethora more to it.

The newly awarded streams are as follows:

  • "Monster" - 7x Platinum
  • "Hero" - 4x Platinum
  • Awake and Alive - 3x Platinum
  • "Feel Invincible" - 3x Platinum
  • "Not Gonna Die" - Platinum
  • "Falling Inside The Black" - Gold
  • "Finish Line" - Gold
  • "Sick of It" - Gold
  • "Back From The Dead" - Gold
  • "Unleashed" - Platinum

This marks the first time a song from the band that was not released as a single has been awarded a certification. This also marks the band's 3rd album to be certified Platinum after Comatose and Awake (2x platinum) achieved this feat in the past. As Skillet continues to gain momentum on streaming, their collection of certification awards will likely keep growing.

Catch the band on tour this Fall on the Still Screaming Tour, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Comatose. Their new EP, After The Storm, is releasing this October. Keep watching the site for any new information on Skillet.
