Singer, songwriter and multi-Instrumentalist Jaye King releases his debut Centricity Music album, All God, Not Me today (Sept. 18) at streaming and digital outlets everywhere. A professional level drummer, bass guitar and keys player, King's introductory album blends enthusiastic pop, laidback R&B and feel-good funk with lyrics that are fueled by high optimism and an unshakable belief in a God who is in the business of redemption.

 

Triumphant introductory single "Hard Place" heard on WAY FM, The Joy FM and more, turns the familiar "rock and a hard place" idiom on its head with personal depth set to a soulful, pop-centric groove. A special, standalone single of the song featuring Blanca is also available to stream or download. "What an honor to have Blanca on this track singing with power and authenticity how Jesus is the rock in a hard place," says King. "I pray this song continues to give you hope where you may feel hopeless and remind you that no place is too hard for Jesus to reach you!"

 

 

Along with "Hard Place," messages of grace and hope permeate All God, Not Me tracks like Gospel-inspired "Falling Into It" and burst of sunshine "It'll Be Alright." Funk and rhythm color the bright "Good News" while "I've Got Jesus" delivers a heartfelt anthem of faith and "Valleys" speaks to a season of testing, renewal and victory. At its core, King's original music speaks from the heart of a kid without a dad present in his life but grew into a man, husband and father whose charisma and musical giftings are more than matched by his heart for family, the local church and his mission to spread the Gospel message.
