This week on social media, Cory Asbury announced some unexpected and exciting news to his fans! Cory shared that he will beinvolved with releasing a movie based on his song "Reckless Love." The movie will be released through Paramount Pictures and produced by DeVon Franklin (known for his movies "Breakthrough," "Miracles from Heaven," and "The Star"), and written by J. Mills Goodloe (known for "The Mountain Between Us" and others).

Cory's 2018 single "Reckless Love" was a massive success, and spent 18 weeks at number one on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs chart and 55 weeks in the top ten. Churches around the globe have sung and loved this song, and now it will be turning into a motion picture.
 


"We've got a lot of work to do to bring this project to completion, but I am incredibly excited to share the story with you all." Cory shared. "The film is about surrender, about letting go & falling into the reckless love of God. It follows the story of a broken young man who finds God & family at the cost of well... everything. And my wife is the hero, not me."
