4. On Friday, Disciple is releasing a "best of" album for 2005 through 2013, and the band will give fans 14 songs, 4 newly recorded acoustic tracks of previous songs, and the full multi-camera film of their set on the Winter Jam West Coast tour in late 2014.
5. It's music video season! Big Daddy Weave, New Empire and The Neverclaim all had video shoots this week. Bonus: The Neverclaim's Jeremiah Carlson had his kids on set during his band's shoot. Both bands had very minimalist videography happening.
6. Mike Donehey of Tenth Avenue North added a fourth girl to his family. This one's a bit hairier than the others. New dog "Blue" was originally named "Blueberry Pie" by Mike's eldest, but they settled on the simpler nickname. In related news, Mike is realizing how much estrogen is in his life.
7. JJ Heller learned that actress Kate Hudson posted her lyrics to her instagram fans. The lyrics, from "I Dream of You," had about 46,000 likes.
