1. Owl City just announced its fall tour, called the On the Verge Tour. It's kicking off in Nashville on October 5th, running until the 26th of that month in Anaheim.
2. They made it pretty far a year ago, and it looks like Skillet is back for more as part of Billboard's Fan Army Face Off. Panheads are encouraged to head over to Billboard and vote; Round 1 of voting ends the 15th.
3. Congratulations to Christian rapper and spoken word artist Propaganda, who just welcomed his daughter to the world! And she has a big name! Soul Cruz Zaragoza-Petty. Welcome, Soul!
4. Blanca isn't a basketball wife, but her music proved to be a good soundtrack for the show Basketball Wives L.A. Her song "Not Backing Down" was used in the season 4 premiere.
5. Colton Dixon met Tim Tebow for the first time this past weekend. The meeting was a huge moment for Colton, who said he was inspired by the former Florida Gators and NFL quarterback's faith in the spotlight, and tried to model that while competing on American Idol.
6. 8. Shawn Cavallo of Manic Drive spent some time with the budding Christian musicians at Camp Electric. And while he gave them vocal lessons, they gave him something perhaps just as valuable: They taught him how to dance the Nae-Nae. He said he nailed it.
