Pillar will be releasing their first album in six years on August 18.
One Love Revolution sees the band reassembling their core lineup of Rob Beckley (vocals), Michael "Kalel" Wittig (bass), Noah Henson (guitar) and Lester Estelle (drums).
The fan funded album reached its campaign goal quickly in January 2014, but the band members have spent over a year on the project, due both to their meticulous work ethic and the reality that most of them have other full time roles in music or ministry. Anticipation remains high, and the band has continued to tease pieces of the project as it is completed.
In advance of the album, the band will be releasing two singles which will be going for adds in the Christian rock and CHR formats. Pillar has shared an official album
teaser video on their facebook page, giving fans a glimpse of the songs. The group has also been teasing songs via their
instagram.
Kickstarter backers have already been treated to a song early. The band has also promised to announce two album bonus tracks in the week ahead. In a recent facebook post, the band shared "Thank you all for your extreme patience over the last several years while we wrote and recorded the new album
One Love Revolution. It took longer than expected, but we put everything we had into it and made sure it was our absolute best. You deserve no less."
