Audio Adrenaline released its latest album Sound of the Saints earlier this year, but the Adam Agee-led era of the band is looking to do some retrofitting.
Via its YouTube Vevo page, the band released audio of the band’s 2012 hit song, “Kings and Queens,” that featured Agee’s lead vocals rather than those of the lead singer at the time, Kevin Max.
Fans commenting on the audio differed in their opinions. While some said that Agee did justice to the version, others encouraged the band to move forward rather than look backward.
“Kings and Queens” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart, and that album of the same name peaked at No. 4 on the U.S. Christian Albums chart. The Agee-led Audio Adrenaline’s Sound of the Saints peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Christian Albums chart and No. 8 on the Top Rock Albums chart.
