Acclaimed Salt Lake City-based worship collective The Rock Music is set for multiple performances in Italy next month in conjunction with the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. Partnering with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and local churches in the region, The Rock Music will assist with outreach events in official Olympic Fan Zones during the Winter Games in addition to presenting concerts in coffeeshops and churches around Milan and Arco, Italy.
"Our heart is to share the Gospel message to all nations, and the nations are coming to Italy, so we felt impressed to go as well," shares The Rock Music founder and worship leader Steele Croswhite. "Music is a little like smiling--even if you don't speak the language, you can still communicate through song in a meaningful way. And because we are partnering with local ministries, we will be joined by fellow believers serving as translators to help provide opportunities for conversation. We can't wait to be part of the excitement of the Winter Olympics while offering Hope to a field ripe for harvest. The world needs Jesus, and we want to hold Him out for all to see."
This marks The Rock Music's second opportunity to perform in Italy during the Olympics, as the group also participated in music outreaches at the 2006 Torino Winter Games. "To this day there is still fruit from those first concerts 20 years ago, so for us to go back under similar circumstances is certainly not a coincidence," Croswhite says.
While in Italy, The Rock Music will share selections from their 2025 anniversary set, Captured By Grace (20 Year Deluxe Edition), as well as the collective's latest single, a reimagined rock arrangement of the worship favorite "Good Good Father." The track released earlier this month and landed on NewReleaseToday's New Christian Rock Spotify and Apple playlists, among other key curator and editorial lists.
