The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, among the most revered and influential ensembles of all time, has earned a 2026 Best Roots Gospel Album GRAMMY® Award nomination for I Will Not Be Moved: Live with The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Produced by the group's founding musical director, Carol Cymbala, along with J. Daniel Smith, the StowTown Records set joins recordings from such esteemed artists as the Gaither Vocal Band, The Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River, and Candi Staton in the category.

I Will Not Be Moved was recorded live at New York's landmark Brooklyn Tabernacle and spotlights guest turns from two-time Dove Award winners Babbie Mason and TaRanda Greene; Elevation Church's Brad Hudson; and Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Stephen McWhirter. Released in February, the project features seven worship favorites as well as three impassioned originals composed by Cymbala--whose songs have helped define The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's signature sound for nearly five decades.

"The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has always been a household name when it comes to Christian music, and this GRAMMY® nomination represents the validity of choral music in the current culture," says StowTown Records/StowTown Worship Resource president Landon Beene. "It is a joy and honor for our team at StowTown to represent The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in this nomination."

Cymbala and her husband, Brooklyn Tabernacle pastor Jim Cymbala, state, "We are thrilled and grateful for the GRAMMY® nomination the choir has received for its latest project, I Will Not Be Moved."

The 68th Annual GRAMMY® Awards will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live and on demand on Paramount+.
