Anne Wilson stands at the crossroads of faith and country music–a rare voice capable of carrying both the weight of life's hardest questions and the soaring hope of God's promises. At just 23, she's already surpassed 2 billion global streams and earned numerous awards and accolades, performing everywhere from church stages to Morgan Wallen's stadium tour. It's a trajectory that reflects not only her wide reach but also the authenticity and honesty that lie at the heart of her songs.
With Stars (out Friday, Oct. 17), Wilson completes the opening trilogy of her career. Her debut My Jesus introduced her as a bold new force in Christian music. Its follow-up, REBEL, broke boundaries–pushing her sound into the country mainstream. Now Stars arrives as her most panoramic work yet: a coming-of-age collection about grief and growth, doubt and devotion, wonder and faith that refuses to fade.
Produced by Jeff Pardo with select contributions from Jonathan Smith and Ross Copperman, Stars fuses the grit of country storytelling with the hope of Christian music in a way only Wilson can. The title track, "Stars," released Sept. 5 alongside its cinematic video, draws from her childhood dream of becoming an astronaut–not literally, but as a metaphor for curiosity, redirection, and God's surprising plans.
As Wilson explains, "You can wrestle with God and love Jesus, too. Faith isn't about never doubting or never struggling–it's about holding on in the middle of the storm. That's the part of my story I hope people see themselves in."
