Corey Prather & High Praize have released their highly anticipated sophomore project, 40/20 Live in Chattanooga. This live album is a tribute to Corey Prather's 40th birthday and the choir's 20 years of ministry--capturing decades of faith, purpose, and powerful gospel music in one unforgettable night.
Corey Prather, a respected pastor and featured vocalist on numerous gospel projects, founded High Praize, a Chattanooga-based community choir known for its vibrant energy and traditional gospel sound. Together, they've preserved the rich heritage of the Black Pentecostal church while keeping it relevant for today's generation.
Produced by Darius Seay and co-produced by Jared White, 40/20 Live is filled with spirit-led worship, soulful ballads, and praise breaks that reflect the authentic gospel choir experience.
The project's lead single, "Here For You," penned by gospel luminary Jamel Strong and featuring Minon Bolton, is a heartfelt anthem affirming God's unwavering presence. The song was born from a phone call--Strong sang the melody over the line, and Corey instantly knew it was the one. With High Praize, the track took on new life and became a moving highlight of the live recording.
This release honors traditional gospel while bridging the gap for today's listeners--delivering music that uplifts, inspires, and keeps the gospel choir sound thriving.
