After offending the foundational celebration of Christians worldwide, the President decided to double down by throwing shade on their music too

Earlier this week, President Biden surprised most of the nation by releasing an official proclamation recognizing Easter Sunday, March 31, as Transgender Day of Visibility while banning religious-themed eggs at the White House's annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Supporters of the announcement were quick to point out that Trans Visibility has been celebrated on March 31 for years (along with the other 182–and counting–LGBTQ+ reserved days of the year), and this year's annual celebration was just a calendar coincidence. Believers nationwide viewed it as yet another attack on their faith, as the nation continues to turn its back away from religion.
Never one to miss an opportunity to kick a nation when they're down, Biden followed that proclamation with a full-on attack on Christian music, comparing it to actual garbage. "I remember back in my day, and this was before Corn Pop and I fought with that, um, well, never mind... there was real Christian music. Now, it's total garbage. Piles of monkey feces, buttered toast, and flog legs. You know. I'm just... come on man."
Although veiled is his trademark delivery that left everyone scratching their heads, the message was clear. Today's Christian music is actual garbage.
In a nation where 32% still believe everything that comes out of Biden's mouth is the truth (and sensible), this is dangerous rhetoric for a nation founded on Godly principles. Sure, Christian music has its problems. But critiquing the musical choices of millions of Americans, after desecrating one of the most celebratory holidays of the Christian faith, is a step too far for many.
We'll see what this does to Biden's continued polling numbers, which more resemble garbage than anything Christian music is currently releasing.
