CJ English, the former singer of rock band Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh, has announced her new band. The announcement came on New Year's Day when she decided to share the news on her social media pages. The band's name is Mourning Eve and will be a Metalcore band with hints of Hardcore Punk.
"I knew from the start of GFM parting ways that I wanted to continue music. It was a real debate to do a solo project or start a band," CJ shared. "But I really wanted to build a good band and family. So, what inspired the band simply was my love for music. And the want to build up a new community through music."
"I would want the fans to know that this is a new community for them to feel safe and a part of," CJ continued. "We will not only be there for them as far as providing music they can relate to and enjoy, but we are there for them as friends and entertainment. When you listen to our music or watch us online, enjoy it and let everything going on outside that's negative be forgotten about."
