Stars Go Dim Releases Fresh Take on A Holiday Classic
"The First Noel" is available now ahead of upcoming six-track Christmas EP

Curb | Word Entertainment's Stars Go Dim heralds the forthcoming holiday season with a fresh take on "The First Noël," bowing today. Bestowing a worshipful bent to the timeless classic, Stars Go Dim's Chris Cleveland adds a soaring chorus he penned with Jeff Pardo, who also produced the track. Cleveland recently gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the process of arranging and recording the signature song on Instagram. Listen to his elevated version of "The First Noël" here.
"'The First Noël' is a song, like I'm sure for a lot of you, that I've heard, sung, and loved since I was a kid," shares Cleveland, who uses Stars Go Dim as his stage moniker. "This Christmas, we wanted to take a song that reminds us of those simple and classic Christmases of our past and reconnect with the story of Christmas in that way. We added a beautiful and worshipful chorus that feels like it's been part of the song forever. My prayer for you as you listen to this song is that it can bring us together, connecting us to the simple and peaceful tradition of the season, but that you will also be able to worship and sing along as we declare the truth about Jesus coming to Earth."
"The First Noël" serves as the title track of Star Go Dim's upcoming Christmas EP. The six-track collection, filled with both originals and classics, will arrive on November 5.
The modern twist on the beloved Christmas selection comes on the heels of Stars Go Dim's brand new radio single, "Yes He Does," the artist's first taste of new music since 2019's Better. Cleveland performed a stripped-down version of the track during a recent taping of Acoustic Storytime. The monthly in-the-round concert is set to air on SiriusXM's The Message next month.
