The official Thrice website has updated with a simple image displaying the words "Thrice 2015." No further information has been offered at this time, but fans are hopeful for what the new year could bring from the band.
Staple post-hardcore/alternative act Thrice lapsed into a hiatus following the release of their 2011 release Major/Minor, giving band members space to refocus on other projects for a few years. Frontman Dustin Kensrue has been active in a solo capacity, most recently releasing Christmas EP Lowborn King under the moniker The Modern Post.
The enigmatic announcement on their site followed up a few hints Kensrue had previously dropped in interviews about potential new Thrice material. Stay tuned to
