Canadian Christian music artist Carolyn Arends went for a drive to think about how to best capture a video for her vulnerable new song, "To Cry For You." The drive itself ended up becoming the music video. Since the video was released, it has garnered thousands of views.
Filmmaker The Arctic thought "To Cry For You" was striking and decided to conduct a video experiment. He invited several people into a studio and asked them to listen to the song with no other directions. He recorded their reactions, and the result was a beautiful music video. It's available to watch now on YouTube.
"Some participants are visibly moved. Others just listen intently, offering the holy gifts of their presence and focus," Carolyn shared. "Together they teach me that there is no right or wrong way to process loss or emotion."
