As artists around the world continue to grapple with the inability to tour in any significant capacity, artists are increasingly getting creative with how they are reaching fans.
Saint Paul, MN native Connor Flanagan decided to turn his garage into a fully produced event stage and live-streamed an impressive concert on August 19th, complete with live instruments, lights and multiple cameras, that is now available on-demand. Watch the show below.
"Music for me has always been about what I can give, not what I can get," explains Connor. "This 'Garage Show' was born from a desire of wanting to create a unique live-streamed experience that would bring both joy & hope to families during a time when people are needing it the most. My band lives local, I have a big garage, and all my gear has been collecting dust from not touring, so I was like 'let's just build the show right here!' During a time when I can get caught up in worrying about canceled shows or the future of my career as a musician, producing this show really brought me back to why I make music. It's not about getting paid or furthering my success, it's about crafting an experience that will ultimately lead people closer to Jesus, and I think we did just that."
