Today on Facebook, Amy Grant's social media team posted that Amy will be undergoing heart surgery this week to correct her PAPVR condition.

"With all that is going on in our world that needs our collective prayer, please also join us in praying for Amy this week as she has heart surgery to correct her PAPVR condition." The Facebook post read.

PAPVR stands for partial pulmonary venous return, a rare birth defect in which blood flows between the lungs and the right atrium. Amy shared earlier this year that the good news is that her heart condition of fixable, and she is asymptomatic.

UPDATE 6/4/20: Amy's publicist Velvet Kelm shared that Amy's doctor said that the surgery was a success, and it "couldn't have gone better." Thank you to all who prayed for Amy Grant!
