Ministry Muzik recording artist Psalm has just released the title track from his upcoming LP, Hero's Lament, and it's heavy. The newly-released title track is a rapid-fire commentary of political and social struggles, delivered over a brooding and cinematic instrumental.
'Hero's Lament' is the first release from Psalm's newest 10-track album with the same name. The project features collaborations with reputable CHH heavy hitters, including 1k Phew, Canton Jones, KJ-52, Selah the Corner, Illuminate, H.U.R.T. and Young Noah. The LP is produced by the talented J. Nihilo , who has written and produced for Warner and other top labels across the country. The two connected when J. Nihilo found Psalm through his Instagram page, and reached out to collaborate. What started as a one-off quickly evolved into a full-length LP that took over a year to complete.
However, Psalm is making the world wait for his latest project. Rather than releasing the entire album to the world at once, Psalm has set a street date of October 9, 2020. In the meantime, he intends to release each song from the project as a single on the second Friday of each month, spreaing the releases over the next 10 months. The CHH artist is, however, giving his die-hard fans the opportunity to hear the whole project in an exclusive free pre-release experience hosted through his website (www.psalmmuzik.com/hl-experience-opt-in/). The pre-release will include free downloads, music and lyric videos, behind-the-scenes videos and testimonials for each song.
Psalm has been turning heads in the Christian Hip Hop community at an impressive rate. His sophomore LP DEATHPROOF won him three awards in JesusFreakHideout's coveted 2019 Best of Awards - including Rap Album of The Year, Indie Album of the Year and MC of the Year. Just before finishing his latest LP, Psalm signed a record deal with Spechouse Records. He plans to begin work on a collaborative release under the label in 2020. In the meantime, Psalm invites you to sign up to be one of the first to experience his upcoming project, Hero's Lament.
