Chris Tomlin Launches Christmas Tour with Sold-Out Shows This Week

Grammy® nominee Chris Tomlin launched his Chris Tomlin Christmas: Christmas Songs of Worship Tour this week with performances in Augusta, Georgia, Chattanooga, Tennessee and in Memphis last night at the Orpheum Theatre. The 12-city tour has sold-out many of the concerts in advance and is set to run through December 20 wrapping for the third consecutive year at The Beacon Theatre in New York City.
Chris talked to PEOPLE Magazine about the tour and his new Christmas EP. "There is something special about the Christmas season," he says. "Truly, I think one of my favorite parts of this time of year is all the traditions that happen, both in my own family and out on the road and I can't help but look forward to these shows."
PEOPLE also included details about Chris randomly meeting Florida Georgia Line member Tyler Hubbard while on vacation this summer and his growing friendship with the country duo. The Chris Tomlin Christmas: Christmas Songs of Worship Tour offers intimate 'evening with' shows taking place in some of America's most beautiful and historic theaters like the Orpheum Theatre, Tennessee Theatre, Alabama Theatre, the Taft Theatre and more.
